Senior Pastor
Ron serves as Pastor at Wyoming Baptist Church, where he is passionate about preaching God’s Word, nurturing discipleship, and helping people discover who Jesus is in the midst of everyday life. His ministry experience spans several churches in Scotland before moving to Canada, giving him a wide perspective on pastoral care, teaching, and community engagement.
Alongside his role at WBC, Ron serves in wider Baptist life as part of the Middlesex Lambton Huron Association (MLHA) transition team and as Vice Moderator of the MLHA. He counts it a privilege to support the local church while also encouraging and equipping others in ministry.
Ron’s heart is to see people grow in their faith, use their God-given gifts, and find a genuine sense of belonging in the church family. He believes strongly in preaching and teaching that hold Scripture in high regard, while remaining attentive to the work of the Holy Spirit in shaping lives.
When he’s not in the pulpit or at a church event, Ron enjoys music (especially brass banding), comic books, film, and football. Most of all, he loves time with his wife and family, who are a constant encouragement in his life and ministry.

Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Emma serves as Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Wyoming Baptist Church. With more than ten years of experience in early childhood education, including her time at the EarlyON Centre at Lambton College, Emma brings both professional expertise and a deep love for children and families. She holds a diploma and degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science, and has received awards for her creativity and commitment to children.
Emma describes herself as a pedagogist—someone who journeys with children and adults to discover new, relational approaches to learning and growth. That perspective fits beautifully with WBC’s vision of helping children grow in faith. In her own words, Emma says: “I am excited about the opportunity to come alongside children and families as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and also be part of reflecting Christ to those who do not yet know Him as Lord and Saviour.”
She is passionate about weaving together her identity in Christ with her love for children’s ministry and looks forward to exploring new ways our church can reflect the love of Jesus in the community. We are delighted that God has called Emma to serve with us, and we look forward to the energy, vision, and compassion she brings to this vital ministry.
