Missions and Outreach

As Christians we want to bring people into faith to become followers of Jesus Christ. The purpose of the M&O Committee is to strategically deploy people and resources both locally and around the world.

To support Global ministries we partner with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM). We support two CBM missionary families with prayer and monthly donations that goes towards their ministry work. We have also sent teams on Short Term Missions to join the work of CBM missionaries around the world.

Camp Hermosa Inc.
For more than 85 years, Camp Hermosa has sought to extend the life of the local church into the middle of nature's beauty.  The camp focuses on relationships and fun! Daily worship and Bible Study times inspire our campers to discover more about God and to make faith in Christ a part of their daily lives. Read More.

1st Short Term Mission to Magnetawan First Nation

MagnetawanOn August 6th, a team of fifteen plus one travelled north of Perry Sound to the Magnetawan river to serve the Magnetawan First Nations community for one week.  This was our first missions experience with the First Nations and with DayStar Native Outreach (a mission organisation that serves Ontario First Nations).  We spent our time running a week long VBS for a small group of kids between ages 5-13, and lots of fun outside program activities to get to know the community better that included boat rides, swimming, rock jumping, billiards and lots of card games.

We were blessed to have made some wonderful friendships that we hope to continue till we can get back again in 2019. If you’d like more information about how you can get involved please contact the church.
